Honey Garlic Chicken Wing Kebabs


32 32 cooked chicken wings, thawed
250 ml 1 cup tomato sauce or ketchup
60 ml 1/4 cup cider vinegar
60 ml 1/4 cup honey
30 ml 2 tbsp soy sauce
2 2 cloves garlic, minced
15 ml 1 tbsp olive oil
5 ml 1 tsp Dijon mustard
2 ml 1/2 tsp freshly ground black pepper


Honey garlic BBQ sauce

  1. In a small pot, heat olive oil on medium. Cook garlic until lightly browned.
  2. Add tomato sauce, cider vinegar, honey, soy sauce, Dijon mustard and black pepper. Mix well
  3. Let sauce simmer 10 to 15 minutes, stirring occasionally until sauce thickens slightly.
  4. Once it reaches the desired consistency, remove sauce from heat and let cool before transferring to a jar or a sealable container.


Grilled wings

  1. Preheat BBQ to medium high.
  2. Use 4 metal skewers (or bamboo skewers previously soaked in water) and skewer 8 wings on each.
  3. Lightly oil grill and cook wings until well browned.
  4. Brush generously with BBQ sauce and cook on both sides until caramelized. .
  5. Serve with remaining sauce as a dip.
