Ham and Fried Egg Waffle Sandwich

2 | 2 | round waffles |
2 | 2 | eggs |
15 ml | 1 tbsp | butter or olive oil |
75 g | 2,64 oz | sliced cheddar or other cheese of your choice |
baby spinach leaves | ||
15 ml | 1 tbsp | melted butter |
15 ml | 1 tbsp | maple syrup |
Salt and fresh ground pepper |
Preparation
- Heat the butter or olive oil in a pan over medium high heat. Reheat the ham slices and keep warm.
- Toast the waffles and keep warm.
- Fry the eggs sunny side up or over easy, your choice.
- In a bowl mix the melted butter and maple syrup together.
- Spread the waffles with the maple syrup/butter mixture, assemble the sandwich with the cheese, hot ham, spinach and fried eggs.
