Ham and Fried Egg Waffle Sandwich

75 g 2,64 oz boneless smoked ham, sliced thin
2 2 round waffles
2 2 eggs
15 ml 1 tbsp butter or olive oil
75 g 2,64 oz sliced cheddar or other cheese of your choice
baby spinach leaves
15 ml 1 tbsp melted butter
15 ml 1 tbsp maple syrup
Salt and fresh ground pepper


  • Heat the butter or olive oil in a pan over medium high heat. Reheat the ham slices and keep warm. 
  • Toast the waffles and keep warm.
  • Fry the eggs sunny side up or over easy, your choice.
  • In a bowl mix the melted butter and maple syrup together. 
  • Spread the waffles with the maple syrup/butter mixture, assemble the sandwich with the cheese, hot ham, spinach and fried eggs.
