Olymel Grilled smoked sausage panini «pizzaiolo»


4 4 fully cooked smoked sausages, cut into thin slices
250 ml 1 cup sliced mushrooms
250 ml 1 cup peppers, cut into small cubes
5 ml 1 tsp chopped garlic
4 4 panini buns
125 ml 1/2 cup tomato sauce
250 ml 1 cup grated mozzarella
85 ml 1/3 cup cheddar cheese
15 ml 1 tbsp chopped basil
5 ml 1 tsp dried oregano
- - Olive oil, for cooking
- - Salt and pepper


  • Preheat the oven to 190°C (375° F).
  • Heat a pan to medium-high, pour in a drizzle of olive oil and cook the mushrooms and the pepper for 2 minutes. Mix in the garlic and the pepper and set aside.
  • Cut the paninis in half and brush the inside with tomato sauce.
  • Distribute the vegetable mix, the sausage slices, the cheeses and the herbs. Close the paninis, brush the outside with olive oil and cook in a panini press or in the oven until the cheese is melted.
