Turkey Strip Banh Mi Sandwich

200 g 7 oz Cooked turkey strips, thawed #8122238
2 2 Small baguettes, 25 cm (10 in) long
1/2 1/2 Small Lebanese cucumber, sliced thin
30 ml 2 tbsp Fresh cilantro leaves
80 g 3 oz Marinated vegetables
45 ml 3 tbsp Mayonnaise
30 ml 2 tbsp Hoisin sauce
Jalapeño peppers, sliced thin (optional)
Sriracha or other hot sauce (optional)
40 g 2 oz Carrots, julienned
40 g 2 oz Daikon radish, julienned
15 ml 1 tbsp Sugar
15 ml 1 tbsp Rice vinegar
Salt to taste


Marinated vegetables

  • In a small bowl, combine the sugar and vinegar
  • Add the julienned carrots and daikon along with a pinch of salt. Mix well and refrigerate 1 hour.


  • In a bowl, mix the Hoisin sauce and mayonnaise.
  • Spread the interior of the baguettes with the mayonnaise mixture.
  • Top with the turkey strips, marinated vegetables, cucumbers, Jalapeño peppers and cilantro.
  • Finish with hot sauce.
