Penne with Italian Sausages and Vegetables

1 | Italian sausage, cooked and sliced | |
250 ml | penne, cooked al dente | |
50 ml | marinara sauce | |
50 g | grated parmesan cheese | |
0.25 | red pepper cut into strips | |
0.25 | mushrooms, chopped | |
0.25 | onion, chopped | |
15 ml | olive oil | |
salt and freshly ground black pepper | ||
250 ml | fresh basil leaves |
Preparation
•In a pan, heat oil over high heat and cook onion for 2 minutes.
•Add the pepper, zucchini and sausage and cook another minute. Add salt and pepper.
•Add the penne and sauce. Mix well and heat through.
•Spoon into a pasta bowl, top with cheese and chopped basil.
•Serve immediately
